Finally, here’s the second part of the story…
So… Oliver got us waiting from around noon till 8:25pm when he finally made some space for the Doctor to break the waters. From there things just went super fast. Mommy fully dilated within 45mins and was ready to go. I don’t think even the medical team realized how quickly everything would happen.
Four serious pushes and Oliver was here :) The whole 6lbs 13oz and 20inches of him. So adorable!
I tried to hide behind my camera to stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks but with little effect. Everything went from a little crazy and fast to quiet and calm. Mommy called Daddy’s office to leave a message for him that his little boy was born and then we just waited for Oliver to feed some before he got his first shots and first bath.
It was a long day but so worth the wait. I love my job! Even more on days like that :) So honored to be able to witness the arrival of the cutie pie.
