I just wanted to take a minute and wish Everyone all the very best for the New Year – 2016.
2015 has been great for me and the business despite the ups and downs.
First we were surprised by unexpected orders to leave Okinawa and come back to England making a HUGE mess of the bookings I already had in place for months ahead (Thank you so much to those that were so understanding when I sent those session cancellation emails, this really did not come easy, trust me!!!). Then came the busy busy May and June with lots of newborns joining the Simply Ania family :) July was crazy, we tried to enjoy as much of Oki as we could on top of sorting, organizing and working full time still. That was followed by pack out and the dreaded move in August. None would believe me if I told them that the first year on Okinawa I was ready to count down the days till our leaving date but we fell in love with the island so saying goodbye to everyone there was so so so hard!!! But we were looking forward to coming back HOME, yes home for us, England has a very special place in our lives. We got to see my family on our way to England, then drove across Europe and upon arrival struggled finding a home that would fit us as a family and that would accommodate the studio. I am ever so grateful for the space I have available. I still have to photograph the area and show it off… it is coming, I promise! I attended the Holiday Bazaar in October. It was so nice to meet so many new people and book all the sessions I did during the three days there. Thank you for all those that trusted me and booked despite not being familiar with my page yet. I cannot express how grateful I am for the easy transition back into the UK market.
I am starting 2016 off with a maternity session this weekend, followed by a newborn shoot few days later. Actually, looking at the schedule my January is pretty much full with just a handful of mid-week dates opened. February is filling up quickly too… how is this possible… This makes me so happy! If you are considering booking with me, please don’t leave it the last minute, I am already booking for April, May and June 2016!
