Miss Burgundy’s Mommy and I have been planning her 1st birthday for months. We knew right away that the theme would be bumble bees to tie with the newborn session theme. I was so excited every time I would receive a message from her mommy to show me the outfits. I knew we would have so much fun. We planned for a quick shoot outdoors near the studio and then the cake smash part indoors.
Burgundy enjoyed the outdoors part at the Zakimi castle. It was great.
She was not so sure about the cake though haha
She hardly wanted to touch it. It wasn’t a surprise to me as a lot of the babies coming from their cake smash sessions do not like to get dirty. We tried to encourage her to have fun and finally towards the end she gave us a few smiles :)
