It was an absolute honor photographing Baby Katherine during her newborn session.
There is a little funny story behind this booking…
I received a message via my Facebook business page one day in January saying “Hi there! Fellow photographer inquiring: Are you in Okinawa, Japan?”.
I responded: “Hello. Yes I am :) Ania”
” Oh awesome! (…) Some more questions :)”
We exchanged few more chat lines that evening… Turns out that Kacey – the face behind Sunflower Photos based in NJ – was looking for a newborn photographer to capture the first photos of her niece Katherine who was due to be born very shortly. Kacey was so sad that she wasn’t able to be here on the island for this special session (she photographed Katherine’s two big brothers when they were born). We set up the session and I just waited for Katherine to make her big appearance. I was so looking forward to working with this family!
The special network that us newborn photographers are a part of all around the world… It is something special.
