My loves – Okinawa Family Photography

I finally managed to get my boys to come out and model for me. I have been desperate for some new photos to put on the walls in the house (those that have been to my house know that we don’t have a single photo on the walls and yes we have been in this house since the end of February! SHAME on me!) As I got some pumpkins at the commissary and the weather was beautiful and looked like a wonderful golden hour, I packed the car and got my son and husband and we drove to my favorite spot for shoots. When we got there, I was so excited as the light was just beautiful. I have missed the golden hours I am used to in the UK but have to say, today was just amazing…. and my little man was happy to let me take some photos, so no meltdowns or mean looks :D

I also got to use my new Nikkor 135 2.0 DC lens – oh gosh! I am in love. I love my 50 .14G lens and shoot almost everything with it, but I think the 135 might just be my favorite for the outdoors shoots now!
