My son and I got to spend Christmas and the New Year’s celebrations at my parents house. After all the household goods got packed up and our loaner appliances and furniture were returned, we stayed at a hotel for three nights while I got to clean and hand over the house back to the landlord. It was a bitter sweet moment as we had spent the past 3.5 years in that house and really considered it a home. So, after it all was done, I booked tickets and came to stay with my mom and dad in Poland. We will be staying here till the third week of January before we head back to England to say our goodbyes and fly to Japan on Feb 3. Scary, it will be in less than a month.
This year, or should I say last year, Christmas didn’t really feel too festive for us. So close to having my husband back home and with all the stress and lack of snow, it just felt like any other day. We got ‘lucky’ and had about 3in of snow for about two days. Brandon loves the snow, he keeps asking for it but doesn’t understand that it melted… poor guy. Here are just a few shots of him outside in the cold. :)
